Who We Are:
Partners Worldwide is a global Christian network of business and professional people who aspire to end poverty so that all may have life and have it abundantly. We believe that God has uniquely equipped and positioned businesspeople to faithfully pursue a world without poverty.
What We Do:
We create partnerships with local community institutions (LCIs) to provide mentoring, training, access to capital and advocacy, removing obstacles and building up permanent local capacity designed to catalyze entrepreneurs and job creators and to celebrate business as a calling to do God’s work.
In 1994, Partners Worldwide formed when Kenyan and American business people met to establish a loan fund for small to medium enterprises (SMEs), a business savings and loan cooperative, and partnerships between entrepreneurs. Today, Partners Worldwide has expanded beyond its East Africa origins and has active partnerships in more than 25 countries around the world, in regions including Latin America, the Caribbean, West Africa, East Africa, Southern Africa, Asia, and the United States.
“Our (Partners Worldwide) training in Arcahaie was a huge success from everyone I spoke with. Our staff, the new center owner and his employees, the center’s sponsoring organization, etc. were all thrilled with the training. Thank you so much for your partnership in this. I think it’s going to be hugely beneficial to us (and hopefully to your team, as well!). I’m looking forward to the next one.” – Jackie Vouthouris, Program Director, Executives Without Borders/Ramase Lajan Project
